Drain camera, locator or jetter: what is each for?
How we explain investigation and clearing options when you request blocked-drain help.
Describe what you have noticed
When requesting help with a blocked drain, tell us where the issue appears and whether more than one fixture is affected. You do not have to choose the equipment yourself. We assess the issue on site and explain the method we recommend. For an urgent issue, call rather than waiting for an online form response.
CCTV drain camera
Our CCTV camera is available to investigate drain issues. We explain what the inspection is intended to establish and discuss the findings in relation to the problem at your home. An inspection and the work needed to clear or repair a drain are different parts of the conversation; the recommended scope is explained before you approve it.
Drain locator
Our locator helps identify the position of a drain issue. If locating is relevant to your job, we explain how it fits into the investigation. The supplied equipment photos on our blocked-drain service page show our camera and locating work without promising that every drain will need the same approach.
Jetter and drain snakes
Our drain equipment also includes a jetter and drain snakes for clearing suitable blockages. We assess which approach is suitable and discuss the required work. Having several tools gives us options; it does not replace the on-site assessment or your approval of the quoted scope.
Ask about the inspection offer
You can select a free CCTV drain inspection with any paid service in our enquiry form. Choose one offer and we will discuss it with your quote. If more involved diagnostic work is proposed, we explain the options and any diagnostic costs step by step before proceeding. Sending a form requests a call; it does not confirm a visit.
